When you use cloud backup features, we may collect and store content that you choose to upload, including:

APP PERMISSIONS
Cloud Storage: Backup & Files may request permissions required for its features.
Photos, Videos, Audio, and File Access
Used to let you select, upload, organize, download, back up, and restore files.
Contacts
Used only when you choose to create or restore a contacts backup.
Camera
Used when you choose to capture a photo or video for upload.
Internet
Used to connect to cloud servers, upload and download files, authenticate accounts, display advertisements, and process app services.
Notifications
Used to provide upload status, backup reminders, account information, and service updates where enabled.
Billing
Used to process storage plans, subscriptions, and in-app purchases through Google Play.
You may manage app permissions through your Android device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
FILE STORAGE AND ACCESS
Files uploaded to your cloud account are stored to provide the cloud backup and restore services requested by you. Uploaded files are not publicly visible unless you actively use a sharing feature to share them.
Authorized personnel may access account or file information only when reasonably necessary for:
• Responding to your support request
• Investigating technical or security problems
• Preventing fraud or misuse
• Complying with a valid legal request
• Enforcing applicable terms and policies
Access is limited and subject to appropriate controls.
ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS
Cloud Storage: Backup & Files may use third-party advertising, analytics, authentication, billing, crash reporting, and cloud service providers.
These providers may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, general location based on IP address, app activity, ad interactions, crash information, and diagnostics.
Third-party services process data under their own privacy policies. Information collected through third-party SDKs must also match the declarations provided in the app’s Google Play Data Safety section.
We do not sell uploaded photos, videos, contacts, documents, or other personal files.

DATA RETENTION
We retain account information and uploaded content while your account remains active or for as long as required to provide the requested services.
When you delete individual files, those files are removed from your active account. Limited copies may remain temporarily in secure backups before deletion during routine backup cycles.
When you request account deletion, we aim to delete your account and associated data within 30 days after verifying the request. Residual copies may remain in protected backups for up to 90 days before routine deletion.
We may retain limited information for longer when necessary for:
• Legal or regulatory obligations
• Fraud prevention
• Security investigations
• Dispute resolution
• Financial and transaction records
• Enforcement of legal rights
Any retained information will remain protected and will not be used for unrelated purposes.
ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
You may request deletion of your Cloud Storage: Backup & Files account and associated data from within the app or by email.
Delete Your Account Inside the App
Open Cloud Storage: Backup & Files.
Open Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Review the deletion information.
Confirm your request.
Request Account Deletion Without the App

Include the email address or phone number registered with your account. We may request verification to prevent unauthorized deletion.
After verification, deletion includes:
• Your app account
• Account profile information
• Uploaded photos, videos, audio, and documents
• Contact backups
• Files associated with your account
• Other personal data linked to the account
Information required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or financial record purposes may be retained as described in the Data Retention section.
Deleting your app account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. You can cancel a subscription through Google Play:
Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
You do not need to reinstall the app to submit an account deletion request by email.
USER CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
• Access personal information associated with your account
• Correct inaccurate account information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent
• Object to certain data processing
• Request a copy of your information

THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
